Once your intake form is submitted, we’ll schedule a consultation call to review your preferences, dietary goals, kitchen setup, and household needs in more detail. We’ll also discuss future menu ideas, answer any questions, and plan your first cook date to ensure the experience feels seamless, personalized, and aligned with your lifestyle.
Each week we create a menu based on how many meals you wish to have prepared each week and based on your flavor profile and dietary preferences. Our weekly menu can include a variety of dinner options for the week. If you are interested in quick lunches, protein and fiber packed breakfast items, or healthy snacks stocked in your fridge please let us know. We also can offer easy and delicious foods that freeze well (like our turkey meatballs, soups, breakfast burritos, muffins, etc).

Our chef can either cook directly in your home, preparing fresh meals for the week, or prepare your meals in a private kitchen and deliver them to you—whichever option best fits your lifestyle.
Meals can be stored in your own containers, or for recurring clients, we’re happy to provide glass containers for added convenience and sustainability. Each dish comes with simple reheating instructions so you can easily enjoy your meals while preserving their flavor, texture, and quality.
If you need to skip a week or have travel planned, just let us know in advance and we’ll adjust your schedule accordingly.
What if I have allergies or follow a restricted diet?
We’re experienced in accommodating a wide range of dietary needs, allergies, and personal preferences. Our goal is to create food that works with your body and helps you feel your best.
When you sign up for our service, you’ll be asked to share any dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences so we can thoughtfully tailor your menus from the start.
Do I need to provide containers?
For in-home cooking services, we’re happy to use whatever Tupperware, baking dishes, or storage containers you already have on hand. For recurring clients, we also offer the option to provide glass containers for a one-time fee.
We highly recommend glass storage, as it’s durable, sustainable, and can go directly from fridge to oven or microwave—making reheating and serving even more seamless.
Do I need to be present when Crawlspace Kitchen is in my home or during delivery?
This is completely up to your preference. We do ask that someone from your household be present for the first in-home service so we can get acquainted with your kitchen and ensure everything is set up smoothly. After that, you’re welcome to coordinate secure access for our chef if you’re not home during future visits.
How does payment work?
We accept payment via Venmo or Zelle. Following each in-home cook day, you’ll receive an electronic invoice through QuickBooks. We kindly ask that both grocery reimbursements and weekly service payments be completed within 48 hours of receiving the invoice.
What if I need to skip a week?
If you need to skip a week—or multiple weeks due to travel or time away—just let us know as early as possible. We kindly ask for at least two weeks’ notice so we can plan accordingly and adjust your service schedule.

Yes, depending on the size and availability Crawlspace Kitchen can offer catering for small private gatherings.

What happens when Crawlspace Kitchen is on vacation?
Prior to taking vacation, clients will be given at least 2 weeks of notice. There may be an option to switch your in-home cook day. We can also preemptively stock your freezer with delicious and quality meals prior to taking time away.
How do I re-heat my meals?
Each week your meals will come with very simple heating and serving instructions. Very often dishes can be heated in oven directly in their glass container.
